| Description | When designating Remove Construction (in my case, floors) with adjacent constructions marked (but not designated) for removal, the job order will complete as normal but a single adjacent Remove Construction mark will be converted to a designation mark. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Construct two or more adjacent floor tiles (or possibly any construction, I didn't try) Designate one tile of the construction for removal, any priority Mark at least one additional adjacent construction tile for removal, any priority. (Edit: to clarify, switch to "marker only" mode) | ||||

Notably, I like to use markers to show where I want rooms, rather than where I intend to actually work, since it's the only way to show things consistently. Shortly after my seasonal auto-save, part of my inn that should have been stable collapsed when the dwarves removed the connecting hallway. | ||||

Confirmed in 0.43.05 with a fresh save. Nice catch! (I added a small clarification to the reproduction steps - I had to re-read it a couple times to figure out the difference between "designate" and "mark". Guess I'm still used to those being used interchangeably.) Edit: also confirmed that this does not apply to mining. |
