Summary0010355: Game crashes if a player created any coins.
DescriptionThe game crashes when saving/abandoning the fort, and it will crash at the part where coins are mentioned in the "coin information saving" display.
As far as I can tell this is happening because I produced a bunch of Zinc Coins and sold them to a merchant. I used to be able to save just fine but this world is screwed.

Here is the save folder: http://dffd.bay12games.com/download.php?id=13218&f=region1.zip
Steps To ReproduceCreate coins and sell them to a merchant, wait for them to leave and then save the game. Launch the game again and then try to save.
Additional InformationI was actually able to save exactly one time when I exited the game to backup my save folder because I was about to do something really fun. But any additional saves do not seem to work and will crash the game.

This also happens when I try to abandon the fortress.

Try removing [DETERMINES_COIN_DESIGN] from all nobles & attempting to resell the unbranded coins, since with recent identity issues it could be null & causing to crash.

Where do I locate that string?

Entity_default in the RAWS - under your dwarven nobles, namely your MONARCH & FORCED ADMINISTRATOR who have the tag in the vanilla dwarven civilsation.

It will require a new world generated afterwards to enact the changes.

Okay your fix seems to have worked!
I hope Toady fixes this in the next update, because it's a pretty crucial problem but for now this fix will have to do.

What DF version was your save created in?

It was created in the newest version. I always start from scratch after an update to avoid bugs.
