| Description | When attempting to trade away surplus eggs, right after marking the barrel for trade most eggs in the barrel gets tasked to be moved to any egg stockpile regardless of whether the stockpiles accepts from anywhere or from links only (I forgot to test if having no barrels in those stockpiles would affect this). From observation, it seems as if they always leave around 40 eggs in the barrel despite the barrel originally holding many more times that amount. Also observed was that when marked for trade the barrel loses its stockpile link as it should, but then soon after gets linked to another egg stockpile even while it was being hauled to the trade depot (I had two egg stockpiles). Disabling all eggs from all stockpiles prior to marking for trade prevented the dwarves from tasking any of the eggs and allowed the barrel to be hauled to the depot with all the eggs it contained. Trading away eggs without a barrel also works normally, though it results in more hauling jobs. | ||||

I just noticed that this issue affects bins marked for trading as well, but it doesn't seem to happen as regularly as with the eggs (I sometimes find a few stacks of goods on the stockpile instead of inside the bin, but didn't make the connection until now). Like the egg barrels, the bins acquire a link to a different stockpile after it was marked for trading. I can't edit it, but the summary of this bug report should really read: "Bins/barrels acquire link to a different stockpile after marked for trading causing some contents to be left behind" |
