Do you mean in the forge, or in the manager screen? Do you have the necessary metals available? |

in the forge i have not tried the manger yet and i have over 3 thousand steel and fuel next to th forge and no burrows |

Just loaded a 0.31.18 fortress in 0.31.25, and all 6 of my magma forges list chains under "Furniture" and coins under "Other Objects". The same is true for the metalsmith's forge I just constructed in a hallway. |

Clarify: Do you lack the option in the furnace menu to make them, or do you set the furnace to make them and then nothing happens? If it's the latter, it may be because you don't have any metalcrafters. Making chains takes metalcrafting, not blacksmithing as other metal furniture does. |
