Summary0004599: [shift]+[8], AKA asterisk, does not act as expected in multipage lists
DescriptionThe [shift]+[8] asterisk does perform as expected in several menus, instead acting like a directional command, moving your cursor ten spaces away from the target.

This is a source of frustration when playing on a laptop or netbook or anything without a ten-key.

It happens whenever you are accessing a multipage menu, and the cursor control keys are still active.
Steps To Reproducein game, use 't' to view items in a cluttered building

or

use 'k' and go to a well used dump square

or

use 'q' 'a' on a building with multiple page job menu (forge works)

while viewing the list attempt to use [shift]+[8] to produce an '*' asterisk.

Note it is a menu control on other menus similar to page down.
Additional Informationswitching between +-/* and arrows pgup pgdown adds a significant level of frustration to a game with a steep learning curve. Do pgup/pgdown have another purpose in these menus? Could we scrap the */ for pgup pgdown throughout?

Sorry if this last belongs in a forum. The first is validly buggy since the * is listed as a control for these menus.
