Summary0004916: When removing retractable bridges, land remains underneath
DescriptionI had ramped out and removed the ramps to create a floodable pit. When I realized my retractable bridges that I set over the area were not raising when heavy enemies were on them. I removed the bridges (to see land underneath!). The land was grassland tiles. I then had to proceed to tile out the land.

Also to note. This land area was visible when I had a repeater setup linking the bridges to a pressure plate.

The land was not always there, only until recently. It was a minor fix. Just remove the bridges and channel out the area.
Steps To ReproduceI guess dig a pit, setup some retractable bridges over it. Then remove the bridges.

I've noticed what may be a related bug with raisable draw bridges. Several times a draw bridge had gotten forgotten beast extract on it. But after I destroyed the bridge, the extract still remained at the bridge level as if it were floating on air. My work around was to floor over where the bridge had been and then remove the flooring. The extract was then gone, and I could rebuild the bridge. Makes FB extract even more of a pain.

You cannot remove the floor under any building after the building has been built. This applies even to bridges, even when the bridge is raised or retracted. You need to channel out that space before the bridge is placed.

The bug with forgotten beast extract and other contamination floating in mid-air is a different bug: contamination splatters aren't affected by gravity.
