 Might be related to 0003826, although could also just be a symptom of general DF crashes on Mac systems.

From 0.34.02 onward I have no longer experienced this on any new maps (currently at 0.34.05).

Thanks for the update.

I'm marking this as unable to reproduce as your save seems to have been either abandoned or you zipped the wrong region - there wasn't a playable fortress.

In any event, there was a save compat break between 34.01 and 34.02, so there probably isn't much use in looking further into this since you reported you haven't witnessed the same behavior in later versions.

If you do happen to reproduce this, please reopen the report and post a new save.
