Why do you think this a bug? If your dwarves didn't find his body in your previous fort, but the new fort inhabitants did, then it would inform you that his body had been found. |

It's a different fortress with a different founding group, so this does seem a little weird for me. Especially if the dwarf has been dead since the start of the fortress. |
