Fishing zones count the tiles next to the water, not on the water. If you are placing the zone directly over the brook, that may be your problem. |

Also, if you try placing a fishing zone in an area that contains no fish (i.e. after it says "There are no fish in the river"), it will report 0 valid tiles. |

Hmm maybe that the problem but i thought flowing river/brook dont run out? |

That's a myth - all bodies of water will eventually run out of fish. |
