| Description | A while back a cat fell in the river and broke its paw. Since then, it's tried to climb up the cliff, but always fails after climbing one level and falls back in the river unharmed. I dug a tunnel nearby on the other side of the river with some ramps to let the cat back into the fort but it ignores it in favor of more climbing. This save should start with the cat in question on-screen (it's also the only adult cat in the fort). World was generated in 40.05. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9208 | ||||

This is because for some reason it's impossible to climb up certain natural walls, even as an adventurer. I'm personally pretty sure it's a bug. It allows you to climb up one level, but you fall the next step. |

I'm also concerned that the cat keeps trying to climb back up instead of walking out of the river. |

In bug 0009252, regarding dwarves getting stuck in trees: "I found an issue with the existing timer that was supposed to handle this, and another problem that made them crawl back up. It worked in the saves I checked, so I'll go with fixed for now!" ~Toady It's possible that was the same issue that caused this, so this might be resolved now |

I tried the save in 0.44.1, the cat is still climbing in vain. It should be noted that her left front paw is mangled and her ability to stand is impaired. |
