| Additional Information | Using the starter pack. Have turned off initial save and autosave. Everything works fine, I can designate mining and what not, until I unpause the game and it crashes. Have tried generating new worlds in different sizes and choosing different embark sizes. | ||||

Do you use the starter pack with dfhack? In that case, it is a dfhack error. |

Without a method to reproduce this, Toady can't really do anything with this report, as this is far from universal - most people don't have this problem. Could you upload a save where this occurs, if you try saving before you unpause? |

This is almost definitely a DFHack error, I got it on mine when i first set up DFHack (windows 8.1 x64). Open DFHack.init and put a # in front of tweak craft-age-wear, that may fix your issue. |

I discovered that a newer version of the starter pack/df hack had been released mere minutes after I downloaded it, and with this version there is no problem, so yes i guess DF hack was the culprit. |
