| Description | So I'm working my way through this bandit cave lair, and some of the goblin bandits are asleep. The first two I quietly beheaded, but this third one I wanted to give a REALLY nasty wake-up call to. Five drum solos a square away later, and he is still asleep. Nor can I talk him awake. Throwing an amulet at him doesn't help either. Then I threw my axe at him and mangled his guts with it. Still asleep. Now I'm beating him with a bone figurine. Surely you'd think at some point he would wake up and try to defend himself, yes? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Find sleeping bandits, attack unmolested. Can confirm that villagers do this too, and that you could hypothetically beat an entire village to death with a bone figurine without anyone waking up. | ||||

Have you tried lighting fires under people? I mean, it won't wake them up, but it seems up your alley. |

Can confirm. I hacked a goblin overlord's hand off with a copper knife (which took quite a few tries) and he slept through the whole thing. |

This is definitely a real bug, I have seen this. |

Duplicating this to 0007108 for Adventure mode talking/noise/etc not waking people up. See also 0006798. Sleeping through attacks is covered (Dwarf Mode) by 0001740. |
