| Description | Military Dwarves return from raid during a seige. Two dwarves show up at map edge. are not interested in a meeting zone designated outside. one of the dwarves engages the goblins and dies. another dwarf then enters the map. this happpens three times where the dwarves take on the goblins one at a time, die and another one enters the map. Dwarves only seemed to enter the map when one of them died. This could be due to population cap or something I had a small migrant wave come when the military dwarves were absent. | ||||

The pop cap does appear to be messing with returning squads. I have a pop cap of 80 and sent a squad of 10 out to get a mug in a field that was only 3 days away. They've never come back after a year. 'Z'tatus screen shows 70 pop. I've been at that pop since they left. 122 visitors, all warriors save 1 dancer. The military screen shows the squad (traveling). So unless something took the mug and they are chasing it all over the place, they are stuck. I'll keep playing it (despite extremely low FPS due to all the visitors) and see if they return. |

To follow up, I changed the pop cap temporarily to 90 from 80 to see if that was making the questers stuck. They still didn’t return and I ended up getting a migrant wave of 10, so perhaps inconclusive. They may very well be on a merry chase in my case. Will keep at it. |
