Summary | 0010808: Game crashes after a short amount of time playing Adventure Mode.
Description | I start up Adventure Mode, and walk a short distance to try and leave the fortress I am in. After a couple of steps the game crashes - Segmentation fault. I can't play this save without it happening. The game is being managed through pacman.
Steps To Reproduce | Just try walking around for a bit.

I walked to the staircase to the southeast and then up and off the map to the north. Does the reproduce for others? |

I reliably crash with a segmentation fault long before I can make it to any staircase. I also crash if I do any other activity that passes time, and the amount of time seems pretty consistent. I'm on Arch 4.16.5-1 running 0.44.11 installed via pacman. I get segmentation faults after a while in my own saves, but I'm not sure if they're related, and it usually runs for at least an hour before a crash. |

More detailed error log: [xcb] Unknown request in queue while dequeuing [xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called [xcb] Aborting, sorry about that. Dwarf_Fortress: xcb_io.c:165: dequeue_pending_request: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_unknown_req_in_deq' failed. Aborted (core dumped) It doesn't seem to happen with other Adventure saves. |

No walking required, pressing . (dot) 10-20 times does the trick. From my experience with DF segfaults they tend to be not always reproducible on windows+intel platform for some reason, linux with the same cpu is more reliable. |
