Summary0001090: Dwarves seem to like eating pig tail seeds too much
DescriptionMy pig tail seeds keep vanishing, despite them not being allowed for cooking and the current season not allowing for them to be planted (processed pig tail to thread in this spring, only have two seeds left that were forbidden - only other explanation would be dwarves planting not-assigned, not-plantable seeds and said seeds then vanishing, which I doubt). I haven't witnessed it happening yet, but I think they just eat the seeds despite many prepared food items being available. This makes farming pig tails hard.

Also, you have to be able to count out vermin here.

Nope, all forts I played since then have kept their seeds. Feel free to close this, no clue what had happened back then.

It is possible, kwieland. But without any concrete evidence on anything and no way to reproduce/test it, there is no reason to keep this open or even linked.

Syndic, if you see this happen again and can reproduce it or provide a save, please reopen this report and post your findings. If you feel it is indeed like 0000747, please post in that bug report instead.
