Summary | 0011429: Helmets can't be made to protect the neck or face (i.e. eyes, nose, cheeks ect.) conversely boots and gloves always protect digits
Description | The UBSTEP and LBSTEP tags do not work on helmets like the do on other body parts. Adding UBSTEP to a helmet should confer protection to child parts like the face and adding LBSTEP should provide protection towards more core parts like the neck. For boots and gloves the UBSTEP tag functions correctly providing protection the the legs and arms respectively. However these items always provide protection to child body parts like the fingers and toes even without the addition of the LBSTEP tag. This causes sandals to protect the toes and prevents the addition of modded items such as fingerless gloves.
Steps To Reproduce | Add the item "full helm" to the [ITEM_HELM:ITEM_HELM_FULL_HELM] [NAME:full helm:full helms] [ARMORLEVEL:1] [METAL_ARMOR_LEVELS] [SHAPED] [LAYER:ARMOR] [UBSTEP:MAX] [LBSTEP:MAX] [COVERAGE:100] [LAYER_SIZE:30] [LAYER_PERMIT:20] [MATERIAL_SIZE:2] [HARD] [METAL] [BARRED] [SCALED] [LEATHER] Then try attacking the mouth or eyes of a unit equipped with it in the arena.
