| Description | Whenever I get to a certain point in the game, usually around 21-50 dwarves in my population, my game crashes when I try to load my save. It always occurs during loading fortress information section of the load. I have re-downloaded the game and extracted it multiple times and even extracted to different locations for each new game to see if that was the issue. I have also turned off compressed saves on some of the games to see if it helped and it does not. Can my computer just not handle the information or is something corrupting my saves every time? | ||||

Have you raided at all? Equipment bug caused by raiding will corrupt saves and render them useless eventually. Upload a save, otherwise no-one will ever know. You can use the Dwarf Fortress File Depot, upload then post a link here: https://dffd.bay12games.com/ |
