Summary | 0011952: Saving when certain entity is on map, appears to cause crashes.
Description | So this has (sadly) happened on 2 forts now. Also absolutely key, the first world was on 50.1, the second was only generated after 50.03 launched. First 7 years in (107) second 5 years in (105). First was a large default large region set, second was a tweaked version of medium region (volcano hunting). Both involved surface volcano's, both had breached cavern by the point this started happening for at least a year. Both had had multiple FB's/Cyclopses. Both have nobility (though latter was a little buggy at first, got a baron at 20 dwarves as one of them inherited it). Have tried a litany of different fixes (turning sound off, using uncompressed saves). What seems to happen (least in 2nd) is this: I apparently have a cylcops, ettin and dragon all near by. Within about 2-3 mins of firing up the closest save i can save. One of these entities enters the map like so (see first pic). As soon as this happens, i can no longer save. Autosave or manual it makes no difference, and it crashes the 'offloading units step'. Doesn't seem to matter if i kill it, cage it whatever. Soon as its on the map, the save cannot get past its first step. Doesn't seem to matter if its the ettin, dragon or cylcops, either one seems to set it off, soon as it enters the map and the announcement fires. Which for obvious reasons has pretty much killed the fort lest i try and play it completion with saves totally off! Have both save files (latter is better example as either the cylcops/ettin or dragon walks onto the map near instantly and kicks the problem off). https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1054749430940713071/1054750117653119086/image.png didn't upload images, turns out theirs a giant also https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1054749430940713071/1054750179275837500/image.png but that also causes the crash in the same way dm me if either save is needed **my thoughts. seems like a badly timed offload**
