Summary | 0012025: Low Bitrate Steam Soundtrack.
Description | Not directly related to the Game itself but the Soundtrack that is also offered as purchase on Steam. I'm not sure if it is intended or not but if you purchase the DF Soundtrack on Steam you get a suprisingly low bit rate (136 to 179 kbps) mp3 version. When getting it from a different source like Bandcamp you'll get 320kbps or even lossless flac files if you really want. Is this intended that the Steam Soundtrack is (for a lack of better terms) the inferior product compared to Bandcamp? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1054033010573443103/1054033011353591808/dwarf_bit.jpg

+1 on this from me. At this point the quality of the OST is on par with the ogg files directly in the game installation folder, which I do find odd. Generally the standard on Steam for OST releases is 320 kbps MP3 + FLAC files. |
