Summary0012508: Gamebreaking bug crash when game tries to change the season if multithreading is on
DescriptionGreetings! I got what looks like a game breaking bug, where it crashes my
game with the message of "Instruction at 0x000… Referenced Memory at
0x000... Memory Cannot Be Read" as soon as it tries to change the current
season. The error is definitely on DFs part and not on PC (because I
checked and was able to fix it later).
For the last couple of month I had the similar message and a crash when I
was trying to delete any made zones, especially bedrooms and tombs, but it
was at least manageable to play, even though quite annoying. However,
suddenly my game began to crash in what I thought was a random moment until
I didn't notice that it was always the same date (28 of the third winter
month). I then tried a lot of things, including uninstalling the game
(nothing helped) until I simply turned of multithreading and it proceeded
to spring with no issues. Turned it back on and loaded the same save - had
a crash again. So I technically can play normal now, but I thought this
might be something you would want to hear about.

Something that might have caused this particular bug can be a piece of
axel, which construction was finished by DFHack comand by me (because the
ladder - which was build by the usual dwarves labor - was built weird(?),
showing that its done but not letting anyone use it) and the way
multithreading was perceiving it maybe? Also, the error log was telling
something about ExtraItemOccupancy, not sure whether it's relevant. I'll
give a link to the archive with the entire game folder, so you could test
it on your own. I would be glad if you also could look at the mentioned
above bug about zones that has been there at least from april (just remove
some tombs and bedroom zones and let the game run for a bit - it usually
crashes in less then a minute) The link with game archive is

Other than that, I enjoyed the game quite a lot since the steam launch, so
thank you for the good work!
