Summary | 0012599: drawbridge catapult having weird results (specialy 1x1 ones)
Description | I was trying to build a pet catapult with drawbridges, trying different size to see if the result change, how far i could launch pets and such depending on the lengh of it. Aparently retracting drawbridges mostly send things upward on a vertical trajectory, and when (rarely) i got to see one creature flying upward and sideway, it would descend back to it's original point, creating a weird pig boomerang effect (pigs were very much armed in those tries). But the weird part start when i started using 1x1 drawbridges. On retracting it, the creature on it would just disappear into oblivion. Worked every time, with every creatures i could put on it, including dwarves. All the bridges i tryed where on a plain where i had previously removed trees and smoothed rock to be sure nothing would interfere. I used zones to force creatures on the bridges (pen/pasture for pets and tavern for dwarves). I tryed camera lock creatures to follow their journey, but the camera lock would stop instantly after drawbridge retract.
