Summary0012865: AI gets so impatient it doesn't follow demands/orders
DescriptionFor anyone just scrolling past and reading this, note that the contents below contain blatant spoilers.

Since the beta version isn't available for selection I'll just leave that here (it's beta version 51.01)

I'm not sure yet if this can happen with every NPC companion but I've had it happen with one of my two recruited demons. Since they're not exactly the best conversationalists and are also quite introverted it seems they get impatient with the player really fast. One of my demons has been in orange levels of impatience ever since I got him and it results in me being able to give him one order at most (usually to wait) and then he gets too impatient with me and tells me he needs to take his leave which makes him ignore me telling him it's time to go. Now normally it's not that big of a deal but when it's in a difficult situation that I need to handle on my own, like carefully sneaking up behind a dragon in a site where I can't travel or wait/sleep so they don't go barging in only to get incinerated, this becomes a bit tricky since I essentially cannot tell one of them to wait.

It can be partially fixed by just waiting or sleeping as it allows one more query to be given but it repeats after that. And of course as mentioned before this doesn't really apply to sites where you can't travel or wait.
Steps To ReproduceThe specific circumstances would be to exhaust dialogue with a demon beforehand, raid the vault and read the slab containing its name, go back and bend it to your will and then ask it to wait and follow repeatedly until it happens (which shouldn't take too long). It'll tell you it needs to leave and then won't follow you until you wait or sleep. I also wouldn't be surprised if this happens with more than just the demands/orders. A more drastic version of this issue could be the demon even ignoring it's real name entirely, but this is untested and probably even less likely to occur.
