Summary | 0012912: Engraving a smoothed stone wall and mining it leaves a projection of the old engraving, interfering with future floor engraving |
---|
Description | I wanted to expand a room with engraved smooth stone walls but the projection of the old engraving makes it so you cannot engrave a floor placed in the same position. I try to rebuild and deconstruct walls and that sometimes gets rid of it, but other times the engravings are stubborn so there are random patches of un-engraved floor. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Engrave smooth stone wall, mine smooth engraved stone, build stone block floor while the projection (a clickable detailed surface without a wall to hold it up) is still present. Then try to engrave the stone floor, and it will not work because it has already been engraved and the sprite will not change. |
---|
Additional Information | Y do dwarves engrave images of creatures they hate? (blood gnats, leaches, etc.) Oftentimes more than the creatures they like I believe. |
