| Description | Smelters sometimes cannot find ore and fuel sometimes and jobs will be canceled. I have tried both smelters with no stockpile links (free to take from anywhere) and smelters with stockpile links (smelters linked to both fuel and ore). I have been able to work around this (with limited effectiveness) by removing a stockpile and having dwarves move fuel and ore into a new one - this sometimes seems to "register" the items as being available. However it doesn't seem to work all the time. Multiple worlds have exhibited this problem, doesn't seem to be specific to one save. | ||||

Asked on reddit and it appears it's simply a burrow issue where workshops are being restricted from getting materials outside. Feedback would be that the job cancellation message could be a little more useful! |
