Summary | 0012936: Mission Return Crash - Military Units are not able to join the Map after successfull mission.
Description | I retired my fortress to be able to connect the two main continents with a fortress bridge across a small gap in the sea. After creating two fortresses to do that job, I unretired my main fortress again and encountered two main issues. One is that, for some reason, no other civilization is coming to visit anymore. Be it elves, dwarves, humans and goblins, no sieges, diplomats or caravans showed up even after 3 years. Even my home civilization is not sending any migrants anymore, though the population cap has not been reached. It feels like my fortress was completely disconnected from the rest of the world. Only forgotten beasts still show up in the caverns sometimes. The other problem is that missions cause the game to crash as soon the squad tries to return to the fortress map after its successful completion. I tried to force contact with the civilizations outside my fortress through tribute or pillage missions but while it worked once for a sacrificial dwarf who never returned and therefore caused no crash, the proper military squads seem not to be able to get back on the map. Also, that contact with the human civilization also created no visitors/caravans to come. That further gives me the feeling that my fortress map became somehow fully dislodged from the rest of the world. The log file regarding the crash shows nothing, as the crash likely happened too quickly for anything to be noted. The fortress is also a Mountainhome of my Civilization with the King residing inside. I tried with several different missions, raze and pillage. Always when it seems like the military should return, the game crashes. In cases when they cannot return, be it capture or failure, nothing happens.
Steps To Reproduce | 1.) Retire Main Fortress 2.) Creation of 2 new Fortresses 3.) Unretire Main Fortress 4.) Send Military Squad on mission with a small site number and close by for guaranteed return
