| Description | My soldier gets back from the raid while hauling a retrieved artifact that was stolen on 106 and currently it is 119. Every time he drops the artifact on the floor, stockpile, or armor stand, it always ends up getting "atom smashed". I have no idea what causes this. I first noticed this when he tried to haul his armor and weapon on the armor stand. It seems that every time something happens to the hand he is hauling the artifact with, it ends up disappearing. Before the Artifact was "atom smashed", I made sure to check the Objects tab to track who is hauling it, then after the carrier finally arrived on the map it suddenly disappears after he drops it on something. It always happens when a change happens to his right hand(one he uses to carry the artifact). |

| Steps To Reproduce | 100 Steel Clad legendary dwarves trained for 4 years > Attack a human hamlet town on the other side of the map with 100 Human pop. Come back with the stolen artifact then open the objects list and track it while watching the edge of the map waiting for the carrier to arrive. Carrier then arrives to haul down the stolen artifact which then disappears to oblivion.
I genuinely have no idea if this is even possible to replicate, mostly because other people had successful Artifact retakes. All I know is that it disappears every time he does something with his right hand(the one he uses to carry the artifact) or when he tries to equip anything I.e. Pickup equipment like shield, drop it on the ground, wear armor/clothes. |
