Summary	0012949: Artifact appears in stocks but is not searchable
Description	A visitor arrived carrying an artifact mug that was stolen from my fortress two years prior. Upon interrogation, he did not mention it. I assigned a squad to murder him, and when combat began, the mug left his inventory, and entered my stocks forbidden and possibly also marked for dumping. The artifact does not appear in the Objects menu. Neither examining nor zooming to the artifact from the Stocks menu did anything. It did not appear to be anywhere in the fortress that I have found, and was not hauled to its designated display case. After reloading the file several times, the item has vanished from the stocks. I do not believe it disappeared upon the first reload.
Additional Information	The visitor, perhaps because of the "values law" personality trait, arrived at my fortress with the task "report crime" about the missing mug that he was carrying. The mug is called "Ugithutir." world file: https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=17169

Quietust 2024-08-20 10:19 reporter ~0042313	By any chance does the artifact appear in a different color? If so, this might be working as intended - in older versions, they'd show up in dark gray instead of brown to denote that they were "Lost", both in the Stocks screen and in the Artifacts screen.
