| Description | This is the third time I have gotten this bug. It happens once you build up in raw size, not necessarily dwarves. The issue has occurred on 3x3 embarks and 4x4 embarks. Ever since I started playing again this year, I have always gotten this bug once I have built up to a certain point. It has killed two other fortresses of mine. It has happened in 50.12 and in 50.13. The issue occurs when others run the save file too. Dwarves will stop building constructions (but they will still build cage traps). Dwarves will also stop smoothing, engraving, and dumping. They will no longer accept those jobs. They will go to the tavern instead and do social activities. If all meeting areas are removed, they will no job in their rooms, even when there is priority one smoothing to do. If you assign the dwarf to a burrow and the task is within the burrow, he will do the thing. However, this will not work if the burrow is too large, so it may be a thing with pathfinding. If a dwarf is assigned to a work detail that has one of these labors, and she is red restricted so that she will only do jobs matching her labors, and the work detail is set to "only selected do this" (or whatever it's called), then she will sometimes do the task. Once the bug has occurred, the dwarves will never do these tasks, unless one of the two above workarounds are used. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Have a large fortress with lots of staircases. I have gotten this bug with just 60 dwarves or so. It happens more quickly when you build a large fortress (size and number of rooms and floors) quickly.
