| Summary | 0012977: Dwarves go on raids never to return, thier Legend just ends in Legends mode. | ||||
| Description | Sometimes I send dwarves on raids, even to barely populated sites, and they never return. Or, occasionally one of them does later on and quite randomly. There is no information in legends mode, sometimes it says they took part in the raid, and other times they seem to have walked off the map and vanished. There is no indication they died, or were captured and repeating a raid on the same site doesn't free them up. My intention is to document this bug from now on when it happens. In the hope that this impacts on the ability to patch it, or find the culprit and stomp on him with a large iron boot. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Unfortunately, it doesn't seem repeatable. The times I've had saves that were contemporary with sending the raid out doing it a second time and the raid completed successfully as expected. | ||||
| Additional Information | I've had this bug across a number of saves on a number of worlds over the last year or so, basically since raiding was added this has happened. I've spoken to several people who confirm it's happening to them. This is game-breaking, as losing some of your best military dwarves can really impact your will to continue playing not to mention the obvious problem of losing them. | ||||
