| Description | When pressing "s" to enter squad menu to give direct orders of movement or attack, game crashes. Never happens when I have little to mid amount of items but it happens when have alot of items even maybe desinations (smooth wall, dig, channel. etc.) | ||||

Check if this is an instance of 0000378 (or 0001063, 0001228). Are you using any large daggers? |

Reminder sent to: Hugo_The_Dwarf Have you been able to reproduce this crash in a current version (31.12 and above?)? With the fixes made to the military, this bug has probably been made obsolete. |

I have been playing the new version .12 and yes I have had this issue I believe its when you have a squad (for me its just the Millta Commander [1 squad]) hit "p" to select indiv. dwarves then leave it in that option exit out of squad commands and into the milltary menu, and create another squad (millta captain) as soon as I goto enter squad control "s" game crashes, I apologize on my lack of response. I have lost internet at home and lost all contact to internet till now |

Based on your description I can't get the crash to reproduce in .12. I'm setting the mode to "select individual dwarves", leaving the menu, making a new squad, then returning to the squad menu. I think this might crash if the game started you in the menu of the empty squad, but mine doesn't seem to do that. Can you give me more detailed instructions on how you create the crash, say with just a list of commands? |

I went back and tested this again in a vanilla install/region for 31.03 and 31.12 legacy and cannot get it to reproduce, which suggests something else may have been the culprit and most likely covered by other reports; however, since this report is about the squad menu and neither Logical2u nor myself can get it to reproduce, I'm resolving it as such. Hugo_The_Dwarf, if you experience this in a current version 31.25 and above, please reopen this report and post detailed information on how to reproduce it along with a link to a save from http://dffd.wimbli.com. |
