| Description | Fortress mode seems to work without issue, but during these scenarios in adventure mode the game crashes to desktop: - selecting character/race - selecting starting location - pressing 'play' (however it's phrased) The game will always crash without fail when pressing play for adventure mode. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Create world or use existing world 2. Select adventure 3. Progress to race selection 4. Select a location (it may crash here) 5. Press 'play' (it will crash without fail) | ||||
| Additional Information | Did not include game version as I'm not sure which it is; it's the latest Steam build by default without any opt-in. I believe it's 51.02 which is not included in the drop-down menu. Computer specifications are: GPU: NVIDIA 3060ti 8GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 RAM: 32 GB (Corsair CMH32GX5M2B5200Z40K) Storage: x1 External SSD, x1 Internal SSD Audio: External USB DAC [SYBA Sonic DAC63057] (included as it could be relevant) Screen & Resolution: 1280x1024 | ||||

There's nothing in the games' error logs apart from stuff related to Fortress mode, which has never crashed on me funnily enough. did the game manage to create a stack trace in a crashlogs folder in the DF folder, not sure if it would with that error code |
