Summary | 0013181: Seasons should be reversed for forts in the south (If the world is on a sphere)
Description | Currently whether your fort is in the north or in the south, all months have the same season, while in a world with 2 poles, it would make sense that the one hemisphere experiences spring - fall and forts in the southern hemisphere experience winter.

This seems like more of a thing for the bay12 forums suggestion section... though doing this to a toady standard, dynamically generating seasons based on geographic and weather factors, would require so many fundamental changes to the rest of the game (crop seasons, water freeze and thaw, seasonal saves, the equator, etc.) that i wouldn't expect such a thing for a long time if at all. Would make evil biomes more interesting though... |
