Summary | 0013269: Rotten meal not hauled
Description | A rotten meal in an animal trap is producing miasma and my dwarves won't haul it. I've tried everything (dumping it, hauling it to a refuse stockpile, autodump destroy-here...). Nothing works. It's really annoying, it ruins the game for me.

If the "meal" was a piece of meat/fish used to bait the trap, then I believe you need to deconstruct the trap in order to dispose of the rotten bait. And if the bait in your trap is rotten, then that means there's nothing to catch (either because there aren't any catchable vermin populations there, or they've all gone extinct) - if you want to actually catch stuff, you need to place it in a natural Cavern floor tile (i.e. not a tile you dug out yourself) or floating above a body of water (though note that this currently only works with above-ground rivers and ponds - due to 0013199 it won't be able to catch aquatic cavern vermin like Cave Lobsters). |

It was a bait, yeah. So now I have to destroy the trap to get rid of it? |
