| Description | First it was the Elves, then the Humans, now its Dwarves from our own original Mountainhome?! Did my dwarves lose it or is something else amiss? Originally I just thought it was my Giant War Leopards wanting to kill their yaks, but when they went from killing the yaks to the elven merchants upon subsequent caravans, they began to dine all the merchants and their animals, first the elves, then the humans, and now most recently the dwarves of my own civ, but when looking at the battle report, their merchant tries and MISSES my passing dwarf, then my whole fortress turns on the hapless merchant and their wagons. But there's no civil war and all the civs the various merchants have come from are still friendly? Is this a bug? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Unsure, but War Animals first attacked Yaks of Elven Caravans (still friendly) and then eventually began to murder whole elven caravans. After a few years, the humans also began to get targeted. It wasn't until most recently that the dwarven merchants of my own civ randomly attacks my citizen, which proceeds to my fort tearing the merchants apart. Not entirely certain if the culprit is this, but I believe it was being caused by my dwarves attempting to dump goblin prisoners by dragging them from cages and dropping them into a pit only for the occasional goblin to escape, which leads to DF Hack showing "1 Invader" on screen. Could this be the reason the merchant's suddenly lashed out at my dwarves/my leopards attacking merchants in the past, the more I think about it, the more likely it seems all the past events I had this happen concided with my dwarves dumping prisoners that "escape". |
