| Description | Never had this before in previous versions. When creating a plant gathering zone. there are 3 selectable gathering options. if the option "gather fruit from trees in and just above" is active than the first thing the dwarfs do is to collect the leaves from every tree in the zone. I deselected the option and just left collect from scrubs and fallen fruit. The dwarfs seen to the from trees with just these 2 options active. (using stepladders) | ||||

Many types of tree leaves can now be used for making dyes, so presumably that's why your dwarves are now gathering them. |

I also found out that dye making is now to be taken in consideration. Collecting leaves and fruit are the same collection option. still need to double test but think leaves do not grow back and fruit does not appear if leaves have been collected. |

Leaves and fruit will definitely grow back after collection on the normal seasonal basis. I have collected leaves and fruit from my trees many times in the same gathering areas, year after year. |
