Summary0013283: Dwarfs ignore planter/herbalist restrictions
DescriptionUsing the default planter labor set to 'only selected do this', all dwarfs in the fortress will still rush to plant fields. Similarly setting up a plant gathering zone will result in the whole fortress trying to gather fruit.
Steps To ReproduceSet up planter and herbalist labors as dedicated
Set up a crop field or plant gathering zone
Choose crops
Additional Information'Only farmers harvest' is still respected, similarly direct designation of plants to gather respects labor assignments.

I haven't experienced this bug, and I always have planters on only selected.

Are you perhaps having this happen with the labor on only selected, but without any dwarf actually assigned to the labor? I believe I've seen some issues relating to that.
