Summary | 0013284: Farm Plot Bugs
Description | I can't plant prickle berries or alfalfa, and I don't know why. I've gathered prickle berries so I have enough to plant. But the farm plot always reverts to "leave fallow". Then my dwarves all of a sudden planted muck roots (?), which the game showed as having no seeds for (see picture). I don't understand anything. https://i.postimg.cc/TY7vhD6n/Captura-de-pantalla-2025-09-14-062130.png

Just saw Tiara's comment in my former issue report... That fixed the first part. I still don't get the muck root planting thing, though. |

The way autofarm works is if you have less than a certain number of a specific plant and have seeds for it, it automatically starts planting those seeds. So, it is useful if you don't want to have to micromanage your farm plots. However, if you have more than that number of plants it decides to "save" the seeds for later and automatically switches to leave fallow. |
