| Summary | 0013334: Displayed ages for dwarves are off by one year before their birthday in fortress mode. | ||||
| Description | In fortress mode, all dwarves have their displayed age increased by one year before their actual birthday. The issue affects both children and adults. For example, a dwarf born on the 25th of Opal appears one year older as early as the 3rd of Granite, even though their actual age has not yet advanced. DFHack inspection confirms the internal age and birth date are correct, showing this is a display/parsing error. The game seems to calculate age using only the current year minus the birth year, without comparing the month and day. | ||||
| Additional Information | This bug issue may be a duplicate of another in the system, as the problem may be so common and easily identifiable. Noticed this when a dwarf should be an adult on his 18th birthday, but he is still a child. | ||||
