| Summary | 0013344: Crossbow Training Schedule Crash | ||||
| Description | Tried to order my skilled Crossbow Squad to train in five groups of 2 instead of 10 groups of 1 in the Constant Training Schedule in order to encourage them to spar. After changing their constant training schedule and waiting some amount of time, Dwarf Fortress crashes without fail. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Have at least 2 Crossbow dwarves with enough skill to normally start sparring. 2. Assign these dwarves to a squad and a barracks and/or archery range. 3. Set their Constant Training schedule to train when 2 are available. 4. Wait about 30 seconds at most. | ||||
| Additional Information | I originally had the squad assigned to both a barracks and an archery range. I also gave them a mixed schedule of 4 groups of 2 and 2 groups of 1. I've isolated the issue to including any group of 2 in the schedule. Assigning the squad to either a barracks or an archery range did not change the result. I also tried removing any dwarf with at least competent fighter, but the crash still occurs. I did not try testing a fresh squad of unskilled marksdwarves, however. | ||||
