DescriptionUrist sleeps through his bedroom being mined-out and deconstructed around him. I do remember dorfs being awakened in pre-Steam builds.

From what I recall, loud noises don't cause dwarves to immediately wake up - instead, it queues up an unhappy thought about noise which triggers once they wake up.
