| Summary | 0013537: Kitchen can't take fish out of barrel for work order | ||||
| Description | If you have a kitchen linked to a stockpile with prepared fish in a barrel, and give it a work order to make any meal multiple times, a dwarf will grab the ingredients correctly for the first task When the second task is generated, the dwarf is unable to find the fish despite being in the same linked stockpile, and cancel the job. This repeats whenever the task refreshes. If you unlink the stockpile, the dwarves will just start nicking the fish straight from the fishery. They still won't take from the barrel for any task past the first, so linking the stockpile exacerbates the problem, but it doesn't create it. Setting the stockpile to have no barrels also fixes the issue, at the cost of space. Best I can tell, there aren't any active haul jobs to the barrel when this happens, so I don't think this is a duplicate of 009004. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Build a fishery, a kitchen, and a stockpile set to accept only prepared fish (which will automatically set to have barrels) Link the stockpile to the kitchen (as mentioned above, the issue happens either way, this just makes it clearer) Wait for dwarves to prepare at least 4 fish Create a work order on the kitchen for 2 easy meals The first meal will be created successfully, the second will fail. This happens with easy, fine and lavish meals, but this is the fastest way to see the problem. | ||||
| Additional Information | It's entirely possible this is just me being bad at game,, apologies if so | ||||
