Summary0001826: Crash after mass designating items for dumping
DescriptionAn elf caravan was killed by an ambush. I designated a large number of objects for disposal by draw bridge. A few minutes later, the game crashes. The uploaded save is one frame before the crash.
Steps To ReproduceUnpause the save, advance one frame or attempt to designate/undesignate anything.

On a broader level, I'd speculate that the effect might be reproduced when ordering dwarfs to move a very high number of stacked objects.
Additional InformationI'm using Mayday's tileset.

Huh, unusual. You're correct in that undesignating things for dumping also causes crash, although I have a feeling that may be related to the fact that the game still advances (frame by frame I believe) through some calculations when paused, resulting in the cat-adoptions/diplomacy while paused behaviours.

It may be military or noble related, but the squad menu doesn't appear to resolve the crash, and you have one of the bugs relating to nobles in that your nobles can't be reassigned, even though they're still alive.

Just checked the save in .04. Still crashes on un-pause.

This seems to have been a mayor issue that was fixed in recent versions. I loaded this save (31.12) and did not get a crash (I made no changes, just let it run).

I locked the mayor in his room until he died. Once he did, a new mayor was elected, all nobles appear on the nobles screen and all are able to be replaced again.
