| Description | Presumably a bleeding goblin stumbled into a cage trap and then bled to death. But wound up with a cage in a stockpile containing a dead goblin. I constructed the cage in order to get rid of it since it was causing miasma. IIRC, it disappeared when the cage was constructed, not sure if the corpse was removed or just went away like splatter. Now though, I can order the cage deconstructed, and it appears in the job list, but no dwarf has done it over a year later. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Have a bleeding hostile trigger a cage trap, let them bleed to death, construct cage building from it, see if it will deconstruct. | ||||

You wouldn't happen to have forbidden the cage trap after it was constructed, would you? Were there any announcements about interruptions, or cannot find path errors? |

Ah, OK, I don't know how, but the cage contained in the building apparently got forbidden somehow. The conditions seem hard enough to replicate and the building should probably get removed now that the forbid is gone, so probably go ahead and close this. No good way to tell if this was a bug or just a mistake somewhere I didn't realize I was making. |

It could be connected to auto forbidding of materials that drop off the goblin when he dies. |
