Summary | 0001974: King's entourage arrives (legendary axe lords and the like) who immediately turn civilian.
Description | The king arrived surrounded by legendary axe lords and such who immediately become civilians. I'm assuming they should have started as part of a military squad assigned with a protect king order or some such. The current situation means that the kings guards don't guard him when he arrives. This may be related to the king dying instantly upon arrival (0001973) - I haven't had a chance to replicate this with a king who isn't stupidly old.

Forgot version and can't edit it. 31.04. |

^^^ Got it. |
|
I'm surprised they actually spawned on the map edge as military service-men, since I thought Toady removed that feature from the game as he mentioned in one of the dev-logs. The "instantly forgetting your labors" bug sounds similar to the "hunters dropping their equipment" bug in a way. |

Picture links - can't attach. http://imgur.com/sipwV.png http://imgur.com/eUFl7.png First shows the first dwarf showing up in military mode (he's standing on the Queen's corpse). He's got the full solid dwarf head of a military dwarf. Second shows him turning into a Farmer (immediately after unpausing). All of the arriving military dwarves did this as they arrived. Nothing about forgetting labors in the report - not sure why that was mentioned? |
|
I just meant in that they forgot they were supposed to be military dwarves. Not the labour prefs. |
|
In previous versions, they weren't military service-men - they were Royal Guards. |
