| Summary | 0002436: Memory Leak leads to Runtime error | ||||
| Description | When I got to embark on a DF mode game the game freezes and then crashes. I took a look at the task manager and found that the program was using 2GB of virtual memory, at which point I received an error message of "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" but with an empty description. I am using the version downloaded from MayDay's site. | ||||

How large of an area are you embarking on? The default 4x4 shouldn't cause problems, but the maximum 16x16 is known to crash -- see 0000136. |

I'm getting this with the maximum possible on 31.10 and getting the runtime error as well. When I have the taskmanager open, I often see the load going past 50% and nearly maxing out the CPU. I don't know if it was the exact error, but its definetly a runtime error. |
