Description | In data/art, curses_800x600.bmp is 160x192, but the png is 160x384. Setting [FONT:curses_800x600.png] in init.txt (when using windowed mode) makes every game tile a hideous 10x24. The curses_640x300 bmp and png, to contrast, have matching dimensions. This has been around since at least the mac release of 0.31.04 and I've just been avoiding using that file for my font. | ||||

I don't really have anything to add, but I can confirm that curses_800x600.png and .bmp look different in 0.31.08 on linux. |
