Summary | 0002866: Steel Helms are becoming forbidden randomly upon military equip.
Description | I produced a set of 10 steel helms for use by my military. After instructing my squad to equip them through the uniform system, they did, and trained with them for around 1 year without event. At one point, I was checking around in my stocks screen, and found that all of the helms had gotten the forbidden tag. After closing out of the stocks screen to investigate the problem, I found that all of the helms had been placed back in my armor stockpile. I removed the forbid tag, and my dwarves quickly picked the helms back up, and are using them again without issue.

Are you sure you haven't forbidden them by accident, with area forbid for example? |
|
Fairly sure. I haven't used area forbid at all in this fort. The only area command has been dump, and I stopped needing that long before the helms were produced. |

If this is a bug, and if it's as random as it sounds, there's little chance of tracking it down. Feel free to reopen this report (or PM me on the forums) if you can get it to reproduce. |
