Summary | 0002875: Embark on River
Description | I embarked in a mountainous region with a river running north south through a canyon. The embark wagon started out resting on brook tiles with 7/7 water one z level below. Dwarves and livestock moved freely over the deep water.

You are using two different words to describe the 'water' - was it a river or a brook? If it is a brook, then it is expected - brooks are shallow and allow movement across them. |
|
The tile is described as "brook" however there is a full 7/7 layer of water underneath. |

The tile is described as "brook" however there is a full 7/7 layer of water underneath. That's how brooks work in DF. This is 100% intentional. Think of the brook tiles as representing stepping stones in the streambed or something. |
