What do you mean assigned? Assigned for dumping or someone is assigned as an owner? Also, with the goblin clothes, are they forbidden? |

I selected the clothes for dumping, and they are not forbidden. Some pieces are dumped, some are not. This occurs when I selected a large area with lots of items. |

It's quite likely that this is intended behavior - if you view the details of said items, you will probably discover that they are Owned by one of your dwarves (usually a noble or other legendary dwarf), and owned items will never be touched by another dwarf (except for moving items aside while constructing buildings). |

Indeed, Quietust. Assuming that is not a bug but a feature, as soon as I select lots of pieces to dump and remove the forbid status from them, some pieces will be set as "Owned" by the dwarves. |

Yes, can you check to make sure that the items aren't claimed (owned) by one of your dwarfs? Is it also possible, since you said it was a large area, that the dwarfs simply haven't gotten around to dumping the items yet? Dwarfs won't dump items that are owned. |

Dwarfu The items are claimed by dwarves. I guess that, because it is a large area with lots of items, some objects are claimed before get dumped. |

Yes, that is intended - they claim what they want when they want it. If you give your dwarfs cabinets, they will eventually store some of their stuff so it isn't laying about your fortress. Thanks for the follow-up. If you find other instances where this is not the case please upload a save and reopen this report. |
