| Summary | 0003029: animals set for slaughter get adopted | ||||
| Description | Some animals (cats specifically) I set for slaughter, instead adopted themselves to some dwarves. I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but I havent ever seen that happen before in the 2 years I have been playing. It happened about 2 minutes after I set them to slaughter. They arrived with new immigrants (I have noticed that immigrants sometimes bring un-adopted animals with them- which I immediately slaughter to save FPS) right before I set them for slaughter. | ||||

This is currently intended behavior. Cats & kittens will adopt owners at their leisure. If the butcher doesn't get to them in time, they become pets. If you have ideas about this feature, please post them here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?board=5.0 |
